The small but select cooperative, which in many ways resembles a winery, believes in high standards of quality in order to do justice to the famous wine growing village of Deidesheim. It produces the ‘best wines to suit your taste’. At least, this is the opinion of the wine tasters. It follows that many of the wines produced by the Winzerverein Deidesheim have repeatedly received top prizes and awards at national as well as international wine tasting competitions such as MUNDUSvini, DLG (German Agricultural Society) or Best of Riesling contests.

The entire annual production – on average approximately 1.5 million litres of wine – is exclusively marketed in the form of bottled wine or sparkling wine. With Deidesheim attracting many tourists and due to the unique ambiance of the ‘Weinparadies’ sampling and sales rooms, around 41% of the bottles are sold locally (this includes dispatch by mail/van). Another 37% is sold to retailers and regional supermarkets. Approx. 22% are successfully exported.
