The quality of any wine starts in the vineyard. The vintners who are members of our association possess specific viticultural expertise that has been passed down from generation to generation. As they continuously share their experiences and information, this knowledge expands all the time with the latest findings and current trends becoming part of their daily work in the vineyards. The result is healthy, high-quality grapes that form the basis for good wines.

With the help of modern vinification techniques, a committed and qualified vinification team as well as finely tuned operating procedures, we create authentic wines of a special quality without ever losing sight of our motto of making ‘wines that suit your taste’ and which you like to savour time and time again.

Since 2007, the Winzerverein Deidesheim has been certified according to the guidelines of the International Food Standard (IFS). The purpose of the IFS is to monitor and standardise systems to ensure the safety and quality of food production. Whilst it is based on ISO 9001:2000, the known standard of quality management, it also includes the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (cleaning, disinfecting, pest control, maintenance repair and training) and the current EU legislation on how to deal with allergens and genetically modified organisms.
