Individual vineyard – 30.24 hectares
Altitude: 120-170 meters AMSL
Incline: 10 % steep, 90 % sloping
Soil quality: loam turning to loamy sand, at times interspersed with shingle. 

At the beginning of the 1950s, the original name of the vineyard ‘Waldberg’ was changed to ‘Paradiesgarten’. To visually emphasise the new name, the statue of a woman - Eve in Paradise - was erected in the vineyards. These line the Haardt forest from where, in the afternoons, warm air engulfs the vineyards ensuring a perfect climate.
