This five-hectare vineyard slopes slightly to the south and is bordered to the north by several sandstone walls. The "warm slope zone" with high average temperatures and little precipitation in conjunction with the soil that is made up of chalk, loam, marly clay and sandstone deposits in places produces first-class, mineral Riesling wines.
