The location is characterised by its unique south-facing slopes. Temperatures exceeding 40°C are not infrequent. Grapes that grow here encapsulate the heat to create aromas that are reminiscent of apples and pears. Loam and loamy sand with sandstone deposits produce sensitive and delicately fruity wines.
